Once registered under the Beedi and Cigar Workers Act, 1966:
- Employers must comply with various provisions of the Act, which include provisions related to working hours, wages, leave, health and safety measures, and welfare amenities for beedi and cigar workers.
- Employers are required to maintain records and registers as prescribed by the Act and submit periodic returns to the Labor Department or the designated authority.
